I am back! (Plus a CJ’s BUTTer review!)

Hey Everyone!

I haven’t had much change in my life lately, besides learning more about Cloth Diapers and watching my daughter learn new things!

Speaking of Cloth Diapers… I have a review! Cj’s boutique was so awesome, and they sent me three products to review! Have any of you tried Cj’s butter before? How did you like it? I absolutely love this diaper balm! In fact, I am about to order extra’s! 🙂

While I was a little disappointed by the packaging (I have to admit, I had expectations for something creative), I absolutely loved how CJ’s included their website address on the front of the package!

I opened the packaging, and inside my products were wrapped and protected!

I unwrapped the products while my daughter attempted to pop the bubble wrap, and I was so excited to see what I had received!

Image

They had sent me 2 of their Sample Jars (Sweet Orange, Mango Sugar & Mint), and their 2 oz Tea Tree and Lavender stick!

The first thing I opened was the Tea Tree and Lavender stick, which smells absolutely amazing!

One of the first things I looked at was the ingredients list. It contained: Shea butter, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, and Oatmeal! All of these ingredients I was comfortable with putting on my daughters skin! Score! I also really loved how it named different uses for the stick.

I took the cap off the stick, and examined the actual product. It was very smooth, with yellow in color. It looked perfect and brand new, I almost didn’t want to use it!

This stick glides on clear, but with a slight tint that you can still tell where you put it. I really liked that, since I didn’t want to waste it by putting on too much! I decided to test it out on my hand:

I LOVED how the BUTTer felt on my skin, so I decided to try it out on my daughter before her nap. (She almost always wakes up from naps and bedtimes with a super red bottom due to having a reaction to microfiber.) Once she was done with her nap, I noticed that she did not hardly have any redness, and she wasn’t tugging at her diaper like she normally does! I was so ecstatic! I had finally found something Cloth Diaper safe that did not irritate my daughters skin, and actually improved it!

The stick is now our holy grail, and I use it daily. I have no idea what I would do for her poor little butt if we hadn’t have gotten CJ’s! So thank you so much CJ’s!

Pro’s:

  • Glides on Smooth.
  • Smells AMAZING.
  • I don’t have to use my fingers to rub it in.
  • I can tell where applied.
  • It didn’t irritate my daughter at all.
  • It has an expiration date on the bottom of the stick!

Cons:

  • I have no bad things to say about it whatsoever!

I absolutely love this product, and you should really try it out if you are needing some sort of Diaper Balm!

Now, onto the sample Jars!

I thought that they were cutely packaged, and I love that they are tiny enough to stick in my small(er) purse!

The product inside these jar’s were smooth and had a yellow tint as well!

I do not have a lot to say about these, as I did not get to use these samples on my daughter (She is allergic to mango and citrus makes her really raw,) but I did get to use them on my own dry skin!

These work AMAZING on my dry skin. I seriously loved these better than my Eco Lotion, especially on my knuckles!

Another thing that I did love, is that these little jar’s also come with an expiration date on the bottom!

I find that having an expiration date is super handy, you never realize how long you have had things!

Pro’s:

  • Was smooth on my skin.
  • Blended in, and moisturized.
  • Compact to fit in my Purse.
  • I love the expiration date.

Con’s:

  • It started to dent a little in the middle after using it for awhile, so next time I will know to swirl my finger around the jar.

Overall, I am SO thankful we got sent these products! I am going to have to buy more to have around the house 🙂

Thank you so much CJ’s Unique Botique!!

I hope you all enjoyed this review, and if you have any questions, let me know!

Happy Parenting!
